Shameless Obama Says Gulf Oil Spill “Echoes 9/11″ as He Moves to Use it to Push Radical Agenda

Here we go. The Politico is reporting that President Barack Obama told columnist Roger Simon that the Gulf Oil Spill “echoes 9/11,” and Obama says he will spend the rest of his Presidency trying to “put the United States on a course toward a “new way of doing business when it comes to energy.””
Obama is clearly going to try and take advantage of the Oil Spill as an excuse to push his radical Left-Wing, Global-Warming, Cap and Trade Agenda. But to shamelessly compare the Oil Spill to the September 11 attacks in even the most remote way is tasteless, and reveals just how mercenary Obama is. Any citizen who sees 9/11 as an act of war against the United States could never even think of those attacks as being in the same ballpark as an oil spill. But if you want to use it to gin up support for your own private agenda, and are shameless, you would.

Obama — facing mounting criticism of his handling of the BP gusher, even from longtime allies — vowed to make a “bold” push for a new energy law even as the calamity continues to unfold.
