Al Sharpton on Rangel: “It Would be a Political Bloodbath” on Who Replaces Him from Harlem – Video
The vultures are already circling Charlie Rangel.
Here is video of the Rev. Al Sharpton saying “it would be a blow to Harlem” if Democrat Rep. Charles Rangel had to resign or was removed from Congress in the face of ethics violations he must answer for in front of a House Ethics Committee on Thursday. Sharpton also said “it would be a political bloodbath” to see who replaces Rangel in representing the district should Rangel have to leave office. He said you would likely have “half of Harlem” running for the seat.
Rangel has represented Harlem for 40 years in the House of Representatives, and is now 80 years old. This report gives a good rundown on what he is alleged to have done.
