Obama Tells Muslims, “Islam Has Always Been a Part of America” – Video

Now President Barack Obama is rewriting history. In his speech to Muslims gathered at the White House for a Ramadan Dinner Friday night, President Obama came out in favor of the building of the Ground Zero Mosque, and made the statement that “Islam has always been a part of America.”

As evidence, he cited President Thomas Jefferson holding a special dinner for an ambassador from Tunisia during Ramadan.

How exactly does that make “Islam” a part of America from the beginning? America did not begin during the Jefferson presidency (he was our third president), and the “Ambassador of Tunisia” was not an American, and had nothing to do with the founding of this nation.

Our code of ethics and morality, and our system of Justice is based on the Judeo-Christian ethic – not Islam and the Koran. That is precisely why America has had such a special history, and has been a beacon of hope and freedom for the world. Where in the world where Islam is dominant do you see a beacon of hope and freedom?

Barack Obama is trying to be true to his campaign promise to “remake America” – even if that means you have to make it up. Obama is political correctness incarnate, and he will stop at nothing to try and impose his nonsense in every aspect of American life. We won’t even get into his statement that Islam is a “faith known for its great diversity.” Diversity of what?

But “The One” is wearing thin now on a lot of Americans, who are now realizing just what kind of “Change” Obama meant to bring when he spoke of it so often during the 2008 campaign.
