Update on Uncalled House Races: CA-20 Goes to Dems; NY-25 Goes to GOP; Net Gain for GOP at +63

Two of the four remaining races from the 2010 U.S. House Elections were called today, with the Democrats holding one race, and the GOP picking up another – bringing their net gain to +63.
The Democrats managed to hold California-CD20, with incumbent Jim Costa barely holding on against Republican Andy Vidak.
But the GOP has won the New York 25th Congressional District, where incumbent Democrat Rep. Dan Maffei has been defeated by Republican Ann Marie Buerkle.
This leaves only two races still outstanding – California-11 (Incumbent Democrat Jerry McNerney is leading), and New York-1, where Republican Randy Altschuler has a razor thin lead (15-votes at last report!) on incumbent Dem Rep. Tim Bishop.
