Update on Uncalled House Races: And Then There was One – CA11 Goes to the Dems; NY1 Remains

And then there was one! Just one uncalled House Race remains from the 2010 Midterm Elections – New York’s 1st Congressional District. California-CD11 has been declared for Democrat incumbent Rep. Jerry McNerney over GOP challenger David Harmer. That leaves the GOP net gain at +63 for the moment.

In the one remaining race – NY-1, Democrat Rep. Tim Bishop now holds a 235-vote lead over GOP challenger Randy Altschuler. Up until a few days ago, Altschuler had been clinging to a slight lead, but has now fallen behind. This one appears headed to court to decide some contested ballots before it is over.
