Here is video of liberal Ezra Klein actually saying today that the U.S. Constitution “is confusing because it was written more than a hundred years ago.”
Klein made the remarks in response to news that the new GOP-controlled House of Representatives is going to begin the new session of Congress by (gasp!) reading the United States Constitution out loud!
No, Ezra – the Constitution is not “confusing,” and it was actually written more than 200 years ago! It is just inconvenient to liberals like you because it actually limits the power of the Federal Government, which goes against ever fiber of your being.
Here is a video report on a possible terror plot against a Danish Newspaper being broken up by authorities. Three men are under arrest for allegedly planning to attack the newspaper that in 2005, published cartoon drawings depicting Islam’s Prophet Muhammed. Muslims considered the drawings blasphemous. Reports indicate that at least one of the suspects arrested has been arrested twice before on terror-related charges and then released:
NEW YORK TIMES: . . . . . The charges included preparing to attack the Jyllands-Posten newspaper, which published the cartoons of Muhammad in 2005 to affirm what it called freedom of expression. But the drawings were seen as blasphemous and a deliberate provocation by many Muslims, and prompted rioting in some countries and repeated attempts at violent retribution.
According to the charge sheet, the men were accused of being in possession of a machine pistol, a silencer and a 9 mm pistol, along with ammunition for both.
The suspects acquired the weapons in Sweden, the charge sheet said, “then on December 29, 2010, drove into Denmark from Sweden, where using the weapons, they intended to attack Jyllands-Posten and kill an unknown number of people.” The alleged plot “failed when the accused were arrested” on Wednesday. . . . . Some of the suspects were included in a recent list of about 200 potential terrorists in Sweden, said Anders Danielsson, the head of Sweden’s security police, though he would not say which ones or how many. Here is R. Lee Ermey – of Full Metal Jacket, Mail Call, and Geico commerical fame – who speak in behalf of the Toys for Tots program, and then also blasts the Obama Administration for having a lot to do with the fact that the present U.S. Economy “sucks.” Ermey was just getting warmed up.
He went on to say:
“Not to point fingers at anybody, but the present administration probably has a lot to do with that. And the way I see it, they’re not going to quit doing it until they bring this country to its knees. So I think we should all rise up and we should stop this Administration from what they are doing, because they are destroying this country. They’re driving us into bankruptcy so they can impose socialism on us. That’s exactly what they’re doing, and I’m sick and damn tired of it and I know you are too. But I know the Marine Corps is going to be here forever – this Administration won’t. Semper Fi. God Bless you all.”
Ermey just said in a few words what I believe millions of Americans are thinking. We’ll see how many on Election Day 2012.

Here is a video report on a U.S. Marine home on leave from Afghanistan, and his wife, who were attacked by a pack of teenagers at a Bradenton, Florida movie theater. The Marine had asked the teens – who were in the two rows behind the couple – to quiet down during a movie. Eventually the teens were ejected from the theater, but waited for the couple outside to attack them. The Marine’s wife wound up getting punched by a male and knocked out. A “Good Samaritan” reportedly “flashed a gun” he had at the crowd of teens to get them to leave.
How sad to think that this Marine – who is putting his life on the line for all of us – would be subjected to this kind of treatment in his own country.
Here is video of New York Democrat Rep. Charlie Rangel telling MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that President Obama will not have to face a Primary challenge from the Left in 2012 because of his success in the just completed Lame-Duck Session of Congress. Rangel was asked about Hillary Clinton running in 2016, and he would not commit to supporting her in a run at that time. Clinton will be 69 years old in 2016.
