Here is video of Fox News’ Carl Cameron crediting GOP Sen. Orrin Hatch with being the “first person to call the individual mandate unconstitutional.” in the Senate over a year ago.
Somehow I think there were others who also thought of this. But it certainly appears to be the key to ending ObamaCare via the courts.
Here is video of Judge Andrew Napolitano analyzing the decision by a U.S. Judge in Florida that ruled ObamaCare to be unconstitutional!
The Judge ruled that Congress exceeded their authority in requiring Americans to purchase Health Insurance – and further ruled that the whole thing must be thrown out because it all hangs together.
This will eventually be decided in the Supreme Court. But this is another blow to Obama and the Democrats.
Here is video of Glenn Beck and his crew today on radio where they goofed on how the media is missing the boat on the Crisis in Egypt – talking as much or more about the Super Bowl and the problems of Charlie Sheen than the great threat a radical Islamic regime in Egypt would be to the United States. They also had fun laughing about claims that the Muslim Brotherhood have intent to take advantage of the crisis in Egypt.
Here is video of former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty saying President Obama failed to use his State of the Union Address to address in a serious way the real issues facing America. He used Social Security as an example, but said that Obama is “chicken” to face the real issues.
Here is video of former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty saying he is close to a decision on making a run for the 2012 GOP Presidential Nomination. Pawlenty was asked about whether he will throw his hat into the ring, and he said he will have a decision, “shortly.”
More soundings today about the possibility that former Utah Governor, and current Ambassador to China – Jon Huntsman – may be preparing to make a run for the 2012 GOP Presidential Nomination. In fact, it appears the Obama White House is growing concerned that it may actually happen:
POLITICO: The White House expects Jon Huntsman, the U.S. Ambassador to China, to resign his post this spring to explore a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, top Democrats said.
GOP allies of Huntsman have already begun laying plans for a quick-start campaign should the former Utah governor decide to enter the ill-defined Republican field.
While Huntsman has no direct involvement in it, a group of operatives that could eventually comprise his strategy team has set up an entity called “Horizon PAC” to serve as a placeholder for his political apparatus. . . . Read More at Politico
The protests in Egypt are not going away. Opposition leaders are calling for a “million man march” to be held in Cairo on Tuesday. In addition, they are urging the public to take part in a “general strike” to put increasing pressure on long-time President Hosni Mubarak to step down:
BREITBART: Egyptian protesters on Monday called for an indefinite general strike and a “million man march” on Tuesday in Cairo, upping the stakes in their bid to topple President Hosni Mubarak’s creaking regime.
“It was decided overnight that there will be a million man march on Tuesday,” Eid Mohammed, one of the protesters and organisers, told AFP.
“We have also decided to begin an open-ended general strike,” he said.
The strike was first called by workers at a factory in the canal city of Suez late on Sunday. . . . . Read More
