Limbaugh Asked to Endorse a GOP Candidate; Mentions “Bachmann, Palin, Trump, Christie” as “Candidates You Could Coalesce Behind” – Video 3/25/11

Here is video of Rush Limbaugh today being asked if he would endorse a Republican in the 2012 GOP Nomination race. The caller urged Rush to do so, because of the dire straits the country is in right now. Limbaugh would not endorse anyone, but he did mention four names as examples of candidates “you could coalesce behind”: Bachmann, Palin, Trump, and Christie.

Limbaugh said the 2012 Election “is going to be about Obama.” He declared, “I would vote for Elmer Fudd” – “whoever the Republicans nominate” against Barack Obama. Limbaugh said “it is entirely possible a loser candidate will get the nomination.” Limbaugh said if Republicans wind up with “milquetoast” for a candidate, Republicans must still find a way to win against Obama.
