Rick Santorum on Fox News Sunday: I’ve Been Called “The Tea Party before there was a Tea Party” – Video 4/24/11

Here is video of likely GOP Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum on Fox News Sunday where he talked with Chris Wallace about the how to deal with the U.S. Budget Deficit. He said it is a good idea to not make people over 55 untouchable when it comes to Medicare spending. Paul Ryan’s plan has said people 55 and over will not be affected by changes to try and reduce the huge U.S. Budget Deficit. But Santorum thinks it would be a good idea to create choices for those over 55 that could begin saving money right away, which he said could save a lot of money over time.

Santorum told Wallace he is against Gay Marriage and Civil Unions because he wants to uphold traditional marriage as the basic foundation of our society.

Santorum his candidacy should be taken seriously because it’s been said, “he was the Tea Party before there was a Tea Party.” He believes he is capable of winning based on having won in a traditionally Democratic state – Pennsylvania – in 2000 when George W. Bush lost the state by 5-points.
