MSNBC’s Chris Matthews Shows the Left Fears Rick Perry: Media Will “Spend Every Nickel They Have. . .To Investigate This Guy” – Video 8/15/11
This is a good sign for Gov. Rick Perry. The Left is officially afraid of him.
Here is video of liberal MSNBC host Chris Matthews talking with far-Left Eugene Robinsion of the Washington Post about Rick Perry, and they don’t even try to cloak their strategy at stopping him: Dig up dirt.
Matthews came right out and said to Robinson, “You’ve been an editor, for many years the top editor at the Post. Do you think the nation’s newspapers and the big news organizations are now going to spend every nickel they have sending young people out there to go investigate this guy?”
Robinson’s answer: “Absolutely.“
Matthew’s then warned Perry, “He better be clean as a whistle. Time is coming. He’s arrived. The time, the march of time has begun. . . “
Yet, these same Leftists and their cohorts in media did nothing – absolutely nothing to dig into the record and past of Barack Obama. In fact, they defended him at every turn, when lone voices tried to bring up his many radical associations like William Ayers, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, etc.
If that’s their strategy, perhaps those many radical friends of Obama should make a comeback in the campaign. McCain was too soft to use his radical past against him – but the next GOP Nominee just may not be. Now that Obama has spent nearly 3 years confirming the warning his radical past should have been to voters, reminding people about them just might have new-found resonance in 2012.
