Ann Coulter on Media Scrutiny of GOP Presidential Candidates: “Can We Get the Ad to Find, You Know, Obama’s Cocaine Dealer?” – Video 8/21/11

Here is video of the incomparable Ann Coulter asking the obvious question of the “mainstream media” who are so dedicated to digging into the background of all the GOP Presidential Candidates:

“Can we get the ad to find, you know, Obama’s cocaine dealer?”

She was referring to the fact President Obama admitted to cocaine use in his younger years, but there was literally no media scrutiny of that during the 2008 Campaign. By contrast, the media has dug into Michele Bachmann’s family background all the way back to the 1860′s to see if they actually settled in Iowa! However, it should be pointed out that the “ad” she cited that has been printed trying to find dirt on Rick Perry was reportedly run by a Ron Paul supporter rather than by the media. Her point on the media’s lack of scrutiny of Barack Obama was very well taken, though.

Coulter praised Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s campaign thus far, saying, “I love Rick Perry. He’s doing a fantastic job, this Rick Perry. You always want to wait to see them out there running for President for a month. . . . But, so far, this Rick Perry is holding up, and he has a tremendous record.”
