Jon Huntsman Goes After Obama in New Ad: “He’s a Good Man. . . But He’s Failed Us on the Most Important Issue of our Day” – Video 8/23/11

Here is a new Jon Huntsman ad that uses some of his statements during a “This Week” interview on Sunday. The selective editing in the ad has Huntsman attacking President Obama as a “good man,” who is “earnest,” but who has “failed us on the most important issue of our day” – namely, turning around the economy and creating an environment that is conducive to job creation.

What they did not include in the ad is that Huntsman also ran down Republicans as being to far to the Right and with “zero substance.”

Huntsman is going on the attack now because he is floundering in the polls. He has gained no traction with GOP voters so far, and I don’t think he’s going to. This is the same guy who worked for Barack Obama and praised him just a couple of years ago.
