Liberal Frank Rich Says Obama Jobs Speech Scheduling Fiasco Makes Obama Look “Weak,” “Amateurish” – Video 9/1/11

Here is liberal writer Frank Rich on with CNN’s Piers Morgan where he seemed mystified at President Obama’s speech fiasco this week, saying it makes him and his White House Team look “amateurish.” Rich said it was ridiculous for Obama to pick the same time as the GOP Debate, then pretend they didn’t know about it, and then back down from a confrontation they had started in the first place! Rich believes it makes Obama “look weak.”

Of course, later in the interview, both Morgan and Rich said Obama was trying to be a gentleman in backing down to House Speaker John Boehner – who refused Obama’s request for the speech before a Joint Session of Congress at the same time as the GOP Debate. But Obama as “gentleman” does not square with Rich’s own belief that they started the whole thing by picking the same time for the speech as the GOP Debate.
