Bill O’Reilly Tells Jay Carney to tell President Obama to “Stop With” the “Warren Buffet” Taxes Talk – Video 9/8/11

O’Reilly told Carney to tell the President to “stop with” the “Warren Buffet” stuff – meaning Obama’s constant mantra that Buffet pays fewer taxes than his secretary. O’Reilly told Carney that’s just not the case.

O’Reilly also told Carney that Obama had no business having GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt sitting with the First Lady during the speech when he has shipped jobs overseas.

NOTE: I earlier wrote that O’Reilly said to “knock it off” rather to “stop with” the Warren Buffet stuff. I have corrected it.

O’ Reilly really ate up Carney.  As much as Carney defends himself reasonably well with the press corp here he was at a loss, big time.  I think age — that BOR is older — has something to do with it and with that a deference on Carney’s part to that kind of authority; plus the experience that BOR has ordering around (in a friendly way) his producers and staff.  Carney, almost by instinct, reacts in the same way as any young man to the older authority and BOR knows it and is having a field day.

    Wow. Good job Bill.

I’ve seen Carney on Fox being grilled by some girl anchor and I think doing Fox has been a bad move for the Obama administration.  With the WH press they basically waiting of him on his turf and Carney has more control of who speaks and for how long.  Here BOR treats him like an underling saying “You take that message to your boss” (assumption that the president is an equal and can be lectured to).  I think BOR has really come along way and now sees the president in a new light.
