Two new polls on the 2012 Election matchups with President Obama show Gov. Mitt Romney and Gov. Rick Perry both polling strong against the President. In the ABC/Washington Post poll, they both actually lead Obama in head-to-head matchups.
In the 40-day average of polls, Mitt Romney now trails Obama by only 0.2 of a point at 45.3%-45.1%, and Rick Perry is now within 3.5 points of Obama at 46.8%-43.5%.
