Here is video of former Michele Bachmann Campaign Manager Ed Rollins talking to Chris Matthews, where he was asked if he still wanted Bachmann to win the GOP Presidential Nomination. Rollins said he did, but then Matthews clarified by asking more pointedly if Rollins wants her to be President. Rollins responded:
“I think she’s a great candidate. . . . I think she’s evolved, I think she will evolve.”
When asked about her being “Commander-in-Chief” with “her finger on the bomb,” Rollins was hesitant:
“Whoever’s President gets to be commander-in-chief. If she’s elected President, she’ll be commander-in-chief.”
Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Don’t be surprised if someone asks Bachmann about Rollins’ comments in the next GOP Debate on September 22.
