President Obama Unveils Plan to Pay for His $447 Billion “Son of Stimulus” Bill: Raise Taxes – Complete Video 9/19/11

Here is complete video of President Obama’s speech today pushing for passage of his $447 Billion “Son of Stimulus” Bill, and unveiling his idea for paying for it – tax increases.

Obama spoke using his teleprompter for a while, and then seemed to go off the teleprompter as he ranted in making the case for raising taxes on what he calls, “millionaires and billionaires,” repeating himself over and over again.

Currently, the more than 200,000 Americans who reported annual income of more than $1 million paid over $177 Billion in taxes. Stop and think about it: If you double the taxes on these millionaires, you add $177 Billion in revenue. If you triple their taxes, you get around $350 Billion in revenue. But Obama’s Budget Deficit each year is nearly $1.5 Trillion!!!! For him to talk as if raising taxes on the business owners and job creators in America is going to solve our budget deficit is totally false, and he knows it.

Obama is playing pure class warfare, believing enough Americans can be ginned up into voting for him if he attacks “the rich.” This is the President who has zero credibility on the issue of spending since he has spent his nearly three years in office spending money at unprecedented levels. But it’s the only strategy his had – because his socialist policies have failed to turn the economy around, and he cannot run on his record.
