Here is video of Herman Cain’s detailed interview tonight with Greta Van Susteren about the Politico story on allegations of sexual harassment leveled at Cain in the 1990′s by two women.
Cain reiterated that he has never sexually harassed anyone, but was accused by a woman when he worked at the National Restaurant Association. Cain said he made a gesture comparing the height of the woman to the height of his wife, never intending anything sexual about it. But the woman took it wrong and filed a complaint, which an investigation showed was without basis, he said.
Cain said he does not know who is behind this attack, but believes it is because he is now leading the GOP race.
Here is audio of Rush Limbaugh today calling the Politico story on sexual harassment allegations against Herman Cain a “hitjob.” Limbaugh said the story “is a joke,” and that Bill Clinton must be “laughing his head off.”
Limbaugh said Politico has “launched an unconscionable racially stereotypical Attack on an independent self-reliant Conservative Black.” He called it “gutter partisan politics – the politics of minority conservative personal destruction.”
Here is video of Herman Cain closing out his National Press Club appearance today by singing upon request. Cain had declared during the meeting that he has “never sexually harassed anyone” – tackling head on accusations brought against him by a Politico story last night. Cain closed by singing a verse of the Gospel Hymn, “He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need.”
Here is complete video of Herman Cain’s appearance before the National Press Club today, where he addressed allegations made in a Politico story that two women accused Cain of “inappropriate behavior” back in the 1990′s.
Cain called the accusations a “witchhunt,” and said that in his entire career he has “never sexually harassed anyone.” He did say he was accused of harassment, but that the allegations were false.
At the end of his appearance, Cain was asked to sing, and he sang a verse of “He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need.”
Below is the shorter clip of Cain’s remarks on the allegations:
Herman Cain on Fox News says he was falsely accused of “inappropriate conduct” during his time at the National Restaurant Association. An investigation showed that the accusations were “baseless.” Cain said he wasn’t aware if the Restaurant Association settled the case, but if they did he hopes it wasn’t for much, because “nothing happened.”
Here is video of Politico Reporter Jonathan Martin directly asking Herman Cain if he had ever been accused of sexual harassment. Cain said he would not answer when Politico won’t even give him the names of the people involved. When asked curtly for a “Yes or No” answer by Martin, Cain asked Martin, “Have you ever been accused of sexual harassment?”
