Rick Santorum Says He Does Not Want to Peak Too Early; Goes After Herman Cain and other GOP Rivals – Video 10/9/11

Here is video of former Sen. Rick Santorum on Fox News Sunday where he talked about his Presidential Campaign, and went after his GOP rivals. Santorum said he is planning to “peak” in January and not right now. He raised just over $500,000 in the previous quarter, and said he will be a little “north” of that in the most recent quarter.

Santorum had negative things to say about several of his leading GOP rivals:

On Mitt Romney, he contends his campaign “bullied” early-voting states to move their caucuses and primaries to earlier in January to benefit his chances.

On Rick Perry, Santorum said “has a lot of questions to answer about his record in Texas” – on whether he really does have a “consistently conservative record.”

On Herman Cain, Santorum dissed him as being a “non-politician” because he “lost races” – because “he failed.”

It will be interesting to see if Santorum expands his attacks on GOP rivals beyond Rick Perry during the upcoming debates.

I love the awesome majesty of Santorum’s delusion.

It sounds like he hates is fellow Republican candidates as much as he hates gays.

Indeed it will. I wonder if he’ll yell over the other’s as they try to answer questions.

I love the lack of logic people with no religious morality use against those who do have a religious morality.

NEWSFLASH: People who don’t like homosexuality don’t HATE homosexuals.  Just like people who don’t like alcoholism don’t hate alcoholics.  You don’t have to hate a person just because you don’t agree with their behavior.  And Santorum’s religious convictions tell him that homosexuality is wrong.  That doesn’t mean that he’s against homosexual people.

Alcoholism harms society just like homosexuality does.  You don’t have to agree…and I’m sure you won’t.  But just because someone has a different opinion doesn’t mean you have to accuse them of hate.  It appears to me that it is YOU who hate those who have any religious convictions whatsoever.  Or is it simply that you hate those who have a different opinion than you?

And guess what?  I’m an Atheist.  I don’t even believe in God.  But I don’t go around bashing those who do and those who aren’t afraid to actually walk the walk they, as religious people, are supposed to be walking.  Bless him for standing up for what he believes even in the face of ignorant people like you who constantly bash him for it.

How refreshing to have a candidate who doesn’t say what you want to hear just to get your vote.  So you go ahead and vote for the politicians who cater to your own warped sense of morality and then turn their backs on you when they get into office.  I will vote for a man who tells me who he is before he’s in office and then stays that person after he gets there…as he’s always done in the past.
