Here is video of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announcing charges against two men arrested for plotting to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to the United States on American soil. Further, Holder explained that the assassination plot was “conceived, sponsored, and directed from Iran” – by “elements of the Iranian Government.” Holder said the United States is committed to holding the Iranian Government “accountable” for their actions. No word yet on what that means.
The assassination was reportedly planned to take place in a U.S. restaurant, and the conspirators were to be paid $1.5 Million. The plot also reportedly included a Mexican Drug Cartel.
