New Hampshire Secretary of State Threatens to Hold Presidential Primary in December if Nevada Won’t Move their Caucuses

The first voting of the 2012 Election season could come a lot sooner than you think. In fact, it could be only 1 1/2 months away! New Hampshire’s Secretary of State warned today that if Nevada does not move back from their January 14 Caucuses date, to at least January 17, New Hampshire is prepared to move up to December 6 or 13 of this year:
THE CORNER: “If Nevada does not accept a date of Tuesday, January 17th or later for its caucus, it leaves New Hampshire no choice but to consider December of this year,” Gardner wrote. “The dates of Tuesday, December 13th,and Tuesday, December 6th are realistic options, and we have logistics in place to make either date happen if needed. Candidates have been campaigning here, and elsewhere, for months, and it is about time we begin the next stage of the presidential nominating process.”
If that happens, when would Iowa move to? Iowa is committed to being first, which would put it the first week of December.
