Rick Perry Assesses Himself: “Debates are Not my Strong Suit” – Video 10/11/11

Here is video of Texas Gov. Rick Perry last night admitting that “debates are not my strong suit,” following the GOP Presidential Debate in New Hampshire (Watch Complete Video of the Debate).

That has become increasingly obvious. Perry just does not seem to be able to think on the spot quickly enough to express his views clearly, or to address what he needs to at a given moment in time. That does not mean he is not, or would not be good at governing. But it is a fact of our Presidential Election process that doing reasonably well in debates is necessary.
