GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain says the objective of liberals is to “destroy this country.” He said it is not simply mismanagement on their part, “It is their mission. Because they do not believe in a stronger America.”

thanks for posting this, I’ve been looking for the entire interview.  Mr.Cain is getting much better, I can see myself voting for him.  Kudos to him for going on a liberal show and being very forceful, very pointed in his answers, I’m getting very impressed with him.

“Rich pay less, middle class pays more” — What an utter economic illiterate this man Gregory is. unfortunately Cain fell into this trap of agreeing with this line.

I knew he was pro-life, but sorry I cannot agree with his stance on no abortion even in the case of rape or incest.  But I think most repubs are not this insane about their stance. I can agree with no fed funds for abortion, that’s fine and makes sense, but I do not agree with no abortion policy for rape, incest etc.

But his stance of letting states decide gay marriage even if he’s against it was a good policy view in my humble opinion.
(yes, I’m pretty libertarian in my social views, I’m not pro-life, but I’m not pro-abortion, I agreed with Clinton’s stance on this, and I’m pretty open to the 10th amendment aspect when it comes to gay marriage, if NY wants it, fine, if UT wants to outlaw if, fine as well, if there is ever a movement one way or another, that should be the way to change the constitution, not ramming it down on America and Americans)

Overall, a solid performance by Cain. But I’m still waiting to see how he continues to do.

Just curious, at what point does the Freedom of Speech these protester’s exploit (the right given them by the country they want to turn to Marxism), — at what point does this become insurrection? Plotting against the country?

What is the “etc.” in rape, incest, etc.?  It is a liberal argument to keep an “etc.” in the argument to keep abortion open for pretty much any reason.  And if you agree with Clinton’s stance then you are no conservative.  One of the reasons none of the economic models show a good future to pay for benefits such as social security, medicare, and medicaid is because we are killing ourselves off for convenience.  Japan recognized this after 10 years of economic recession and finally told their workers to stop working for a few minutes already and go create some more people. Additionally, I would add, the baby is either a person or not, irregardless of how he or she was conceived.  We should not be killing innocent people.

Well, you’re right, I guess if the conservative movement only judges by
social issues, then most independents like me would not be conservatives, even
if we are limited govt, fiscal conservatives.

I’ll be clear, I do not support Cain’s argument of no choice of abortion
left to women who are victims of rape or incest. I’m not a supporter of late
term or partial birth abortion. Most independents are centrists when it comes
to this issue, and they do not see themselves as pro-life in terms of life being
considered life at conception, but that does not mean they consider having
abortions willy-nilly, its a rare choice that is made sometimes, and that choice
that to be made by the family in very limited circumstances. But I want that
hard choice available to the family. So, no I absolutely do not agree with Cain’s stance of no choice given to victims of rape and incest.

    just an average voter,

While you may not be a conservative in every sense of the word, you are part of the coalition that knows Barack Obama is bad for America. We need that coalition to be broad and united going into November 2012.

I’m with Cain on the issue of Life, because I believe life begins at conception. As horrific as the circumstances can be of the conception of that life, it is not the fault of that innocent child.

But even if you pass legislation allowing abortion in cases of rape and incest, you will outlaw 99% of abortions. For that reason, many conservatives will support such legislation to end the vast majority of abortions, even though they don’t agree that innocent human life should be destroyed because of the circumstances of their conception. For the most part, the rape and incest argument is an excuse to keep abortion on demand legal in America. If that was the major concern of those on the Left, they would propose outlawing all other abortions – but they never will.

We may not agree on this issue, but we’re glad to have you on board in repealing and replacing Obama as President!

So it is the family’s right to kill their child?  Why not late-term abortion, because it is more obviously a child?  Or do some children come out elephants?
