MSNBC’s Bashir: Herman Cain ‘Doesn’t Want to be Associated With African-Americans’ – Video 10/17/11

MSNBC’s Martin Bashir says GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain did not attend the dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. Monument on Saturday because he “doesn’t want to be overtly associated with African-Americans, and certainly not a man as dangerous as the greatest civil rights leader in the history of this country.”

    MSNBC certainly is good for laughs. They actually take themselves seriously.  LOL.

    Martin Bashir is attempting to lay the groundwork to mischaracterize Cain as being a self-loather, one who doesn’t want to associate with blacks, and thus also attempt to lay the groundwork to mischaracterize and pigeon-hole Cain as therefore not being authentically black.

    Secondly, this deflects away from Obama, who refuses to tour in predominantly black areas, as Obama has been attacked by members of the Congressional Black Caucus over this.

    I woudn’t be surprised if Bashir knows what he is doing.
