Karl Rove Responds to Herman Cain’s Claim Rove is Biased Against Him: I’m Not Paid “to be a Cheerleader, but to Call Balls and Strikes” – Audio 10/27/11
Here is audio of Karl Rove on the Sean Hannity Radio Show today where he talked about the current state of the GOP Presidential Race.
Rove responded to Herman Cain’s recent comments that Rove is trying to hurt his campaign by constantly being negative about him. Rove said he is not paid to be a “cheerleader,” but to “call balls and strikes.”
Rove said Cain needs to be spending time in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina instead of speaking in Alabama and Arkansas. Rove continued his attacks on Cain, this time taking him to task for not having more noted economists help him put together his “999 Plan.”
Rove is right, that he is not asked by Fox News to be a cheerleader for any particular candidate. But Cain is also right that Rove seems to constantly go out of his way to attack Herman Cain and Rick Perry at a level he has not criticized Mitt Romney.
