Rick Perry Threatens Non-Compliant Federal Workers

Here is video of Texas Gov. Rick Perry campaigning in New Hampshire yesterday, where he said if he becomes President and Federal bureaucrats don’t get on board with changes he seeks to make, they could find themselves “reassigned” to some “God-awful place.”

“If you have Health and Human Service bureaucrats who try to block our being able to block grant dollars back to the states, so you all can decide how best to deliver health care in New Hampshire. I don’t think you can fire federal bureaucrats, but you can reassign them. So, but reassign them to some really God-awful place.”

Here is video of a new Mitt Romney ad running in New Hampshire. It touts Romney as someone who has “spent his life in the private sector,” and has him saying he would “stop the growth of the Federal Government” by cutting spending to 20% of GDP, and pushing a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

New Polls in both South Carolina and Florida show the Newt Gingrich surge has impacted those states as well as Iowa and New Hampshire.

In South Carolina, an American Research Group poll gives Gingrich an 11-point lead over Mitt Romney. In Florida, an Insider Advantage poll puts Gingrich way out in front, with a 41%-17% lead over Romney.

Newt Gingrich now leads in the Polling Average for three of the first five voting states: Iowa, South Carolina, and Florida. Mitt Romney continues to lead in New Hampshire and Nevada.

Wow! This is a great ad.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has just released this ad that draws the startling parallels between Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. Their words on American workers and the economy are eerily similar. This is the template for ads that need to run in the Fall of 2012, reminding Americans that as in 1980, the only way to get out of this mess is to change the occupant of the Oval Office.

Here is video of Donald Trump blasting our “Fundraiser-in-Chief” Barack Obama for choosing to hold a fundraiser near Rockefeller Center in New York at the same time as the lighting of the Christmas Tree there – ensuring gridlock for the thousands trying to attend.

“You will never see a mess like this tomorrow night. President Obama is holding a fundraiser – another of his fundraisers – hundreds of them. Every day he’s holding fundraisers. He doesn’t govern. All he does is raise money so he can try to get re-elected, so he can put the country further in the hole. So he’s having a fundraiser right near Rockefeller Center where thousands of people are coming to see the tree light up. Isn’t that a shame? The streets are going to be closed. Let me tell you: This President is a much different person than people know. He’s a very inconsiderate guy. Stop with the fundraisers and start running the country because you are doing one hell of a lousy job.”

Let it never be questioned again whether Barack Obama’s political career essentially started in the living room of a former domestic terrorist – Bill Ayers.

This video shows good ol’ Robert Gibbs denying that William Ayers ever held a fundraiser in his living room for Barack Obama to get his career underway in politics. In fact, Gibbs laughed it off in talking to Chris Matthews, calling the story “a myth.” But recently, as the video shows, Ayers himself bragged to a group he was speaking to that he did hold a fundraiser in his living room for Barack Obama as his political career began.

Here is video of Fox News’ Bret Baier on “Special Report” interviewing Gov. Mitt Romney tonight.

Baier asked Romney a series of pointed questions, which at one point led Romney to say, “This is an unusual interview.” He first asked Romney about why the New Hampshire Union-Leader endorsed Newt Gingrich over Mitt Romney. Romney said he was not really surprised, but said he believes he has the right background to defeat President Obama and to turn the nation around. Romney cast Gingrich as a “life-long politician,” and he does not think that is the best person to defeat Obama.

Baier then asked about the myriad of policy changes by Romney over the years, which Romney seemed to bristle at, telling Baier “we’re going to have to be better informed about my views on issues,” and that “your list is just not accurate.” He pointed to his views set forth in his book, but he did not speak to the very real changes in his positions over the years on various issues.

Romney is almost always unflappable, but when Baier asked him if he still supports a “mandate” for health care as he did in his RomneyCare Plan, Romney was clearly irritated (8:24 mark of the video). He looked at Baier and said:

“Bret, I don’t know how many hundred times I’ve said this too. This is an unusual interview. (Laughing) Alright, let’s do it again (as he shifts and crosses his legs).”

Romney did much better in the latter portion of the interview. He seemed to relax and be more at ease as he talked about wanting to create “11 million new jobs” in his first four years as President, which he said would bring unemployment down to around 6%.

Romney still has a 15.8 point lead in New Hampshire in our 21-day polling average, but Gingrich is making up ground fast.

Iranian students have attacked the British Embassy in Tehran. The Daily Mail reports that six embassy staff were taken hostage before being freed by police.

(Fox News) – Hard-line Iranian students stormed British diplomatic sites in Tehran on Tuesday, bringing down the Union Jack flag, burning an embassy vehicle and throwing documents from windows in scenes reminiscent of the seizing of the U.S. Embassy compound in 1979.

The mob surged past riot police into the British Embassy complex — which they pelted with petrol bombs and stones — two days after Iran’s parliament approved a bill that reduces diplomatic relations with Britain following London’s support of recently upgraded Western sanctions on Tehran over its disputed nuclear program. Flames shot out of a sport utility vehicle parked outside the brick building.

Demonstrators outside the embassy also burned British flags and clashed with police as the rally, which had been organized by student groups at universities and seminaries.

In the wake of allegations he had a 13-year affair with a Georgia woman, Herman Cain said today he is “reassessing” the future of his Presidential Campaign:

THE HILL: Herman Cain told members of his staff that he is “reassessing” his decision to remain in the race for the Republican presidential nomination following new allegations that he conducted a 13-year-long affair with an Atlanta businesswoman.

Cain said on a conference call Tuesday morning, with around 90 supporters listening, that he was concerned the story would cause “too much of a cloud,” according to multiple media reports.

“Now with this latest one we have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud in some peoples’ minds as to whether or not they should support us going forward.”

Cain’s campaign said later Tuesday that the “reassessment” was similar to other low points in the campaign, but did not imply that Cain was considering dropping out. . . . Read More

Here is video of Barack Obama in 2006 “confessing” to a crowd of people that he “stole” the name of his book, “The Audacity of Hope,” from “my pastor – Jeremiah A. Wright.”

This, of course, is the same pastor who also said in one of his sermons, “God*amn America” – essentially blaming America for what happened on 9/11.

What’s interesting about this is that Obama has tried hard to distance himself from Wright since his controversial sermons burst into the media in 2008. He actually claimed he did not know about Wright’s controversial statements. The reality is that Obama was a member of Wright’s church for 20 years, and once told a Chicago Sun-Times reporter he attended Wright’s services “every week.”. He was on a first-name basis with Wright – calling him “Jeremiah” in this video. There is no way that Obama did not know about Wright’s radical views, and by staying in the church all that time, he showed he agreed with them.

Yet he was given a pass by the media, and, to our great loss, the American people in the 2008 Election. Sadly, 53% of the voters elected a man whose very core is not congruent with the values and principles that have made America the greatest nation on earth. What is audacious is to think that after what he has done to America these past three years, he thinks Americans should return him to office to finish the implementation of his radical agenda.

John McCain would not use Jeremiah Wright against Obama. Whoever wins the GOP Nomination in 2012 should – because Wright’s radical views are at the core of who Obama is, so much so, that Obama used the title of Wright’s sermon as the very theme of his Presidential aspirations.

Here is a video reminding us of the radical associations that helped create Barack Obama:
