Attorney General Eric Holder lashes out at a reporter for the Daily Caller when asked about the calls for his resignation over the “Fast and Furious” scandal. Holder accused the Daily Caller of being behind the story and told the reporter “you guys need to stop this.”
52 members of Congress, three presidential candidates and two sitting governors have called for Holder’s resignation.
Here is video of Texas Gov. Rick Perry campaigning in New Hampshire yesterday, where he said if he becomes President and Federal bureaucrats don’t get on board with changes he seeks to make, they could find themselves “reassigned” to some “God-awful place.”
“If you have Health and Human Service bureaucrats who try to block our being able to block grant dollars back to the states, so you all can decide how best to deliver health care in New Hampshire. I don’t think you can fire federal bureaucrats, but you can reassign them. So, but reassign them to some really God-awful place.”
Here is video of a new Mitt Romney ad running in New Hampshire. It touts Romney as someone who has “spent his life in the private sector,” and has him saying he would “stop the growth of the Federal Government” by cutting spending to 20% of GDP, and pushing a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
New Polls in both South Carolina and Florida show the Newt Gingrich surge has impacted those states as well as Iowa and New Hampshire.
In South Carolina, an American Research Group poll gives Gingrich an 11-point lead over Mitt Romney. In Florida, an Insider Advantage poll puts Gingrich way out in front, with a 41%-17% lead over Romney.
Newt Gingrich now leads in the Polling Average for three of the first five voting states: Iowa, South Carolina, and Florida. Mitt Romney continues to lead in New Hampshire and Nevada.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee has just released this ad that draws the startling parallels between Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. Their words on American workers and the economy are eerily similar. This is the template for ads that need to run in the Fall of 2012, reminding Americans that as in 1980, the only way to get out of this mess is to change the occupant of the Oval Office.
Here is video of Donald Trump blasting our “Fundraiser-in-Chief” Barack Obama for choosing to hold a fundraiser near Rockefeller Center in New York at the same time as the lighting of the Christmas Tree there – ensuring gridlock for the thousands trying to attend.
“You will never see a mess like this tomorrow night. President Obama is holding a fundraiser – another of his fundraisers – hundreds of them. Every day he’s holding fundraisers. He doesn’t govern. All he does is raise money so he can try to get re-elected, so he can put the country further in the hole. So he’s having a fundraiser right near Rockefeller Center where thousands of people are coming to see the tree light up. Isn’t that a shame? The streets are going to be closed. Let me tell you: This President is a much different person than people know. He’s a very inconsiderate guy. Stop with the fundraisers and start running the country because you are doing one hell of a lousy job.”
Let it never be questioned again whether Barack Obama’s political career essentially started in the living room of a former domestic terrorist – Bill Ayers.
This video shows good ol’ Robert Gibbs denying that William Ayers ever held a fundraiser in his living room for Barack Obama to get his career underway in politics. In fact, Gibbs laughed it off in talking to Chris Matthews, calling the story “a myth.” But recently, as the video shows, Ayers himself bragged to a group he was speaking to that he did hold a fundraiser in his living room for Barack Obama as his political career began.
