Rick Perry’s Odd Behavior in NH Speech Causing Wave of Speculation – Video Report 10/31/11

Here is a video report on questions arising from Gov. Rick Perry’s odd behavior during a speech he gave in New Hampshire last Friday. Perry’s facial expressions and statements have caused some to wonder if he had been drinking or using heavy painkillers. Some are even comparing this speech to the infamous Howard Dean “Scream” Speech from Iowa in 2004.

While it does not even begin approach that, I did think he acted very differently than I have grown accustomed to seeing, and I’ve seen a number of his speeches. But he may have just been trying hard to use humor, and get some energy into his campaign. Still, this is just another distraction that does his campaign no good.
