Haley Barbour Conjures Up Jimmy Carter in New Web Ad: “A Second Obama Term Means Making this Malaise Permanent” – Video
Here is a new web ad put out by “American Crossroads” that features Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour talking about what the 2012 Election means to America. Barbour said 2012 will be a “watershed year for our country.”
Barbour even conjures up memories of the Jimmy Carter days by using the word “malaise”:
“A second Obama term means making this malaise permanent.”
He closed with a challenge:
“Most of all, we have to reject the notion of America’s inevitable decline. We’re the greatest country on earth and we can get America right again. To do that, we have to win in 2012. We have to win the White House, win the Senate, and keep the House. We need your help. Our future and our children’s futures are at stake. So, come on now, let’s get this done.”
