Herman Cain Chief of Staff Mark Block Wrongly Says Son of Harassment Accuser Works for Politico – Video 11/8/11
Herman Cain’s Chief of Staff – “smoking ad” star Mark Block – made a major gaffe tonight on “Hannity.”
Block told Sean Hannity that they have “connected the dots” and found that one of the first two accusers of Herman Cain – a woman named Karen Kraushaar – is the mother of a journalist named Josh Kraushaar, and that he works for Politico. Politico is the organization that first published the allegations of sexual harassment against Cain.
Problem is: It’s not true!
Josh Kraushaar tweeted BEFORE Block went on “Hannity” that he was no relation to the woman in question, and he does not work for Politico (he did at one time) – he now works for National Journal’s “Hotline.”
So, while Mark Block was complaining about Herman Cain being falsely accused – he was falsely accusing someone himself. Herman Cain should be better served by his staff.
UPDATE: Now Politico is confirming what Block said is not accurate.
