Laura Ingraham Advises Rick Perry Not to Go on “Letterman” or “The Daily Show”; Tells Him to only Do SNL in Wake of Debate Brain Freeze – Audio 11/10/11

Here is audio of Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Laura Ingraham’s Radio Program this morning, where he said he had a brain freeze for “54 seconds” that “seemed like 54 hours.”

Perry is doing his best to deal with the fallout using humor and self-deprecation. Truthfully, there is no one who has not had a moment like that. It’s just that Perry’s came at the worst possible moment, and just feeds into the whole narrative that he can’t handle the whole debate thing.

Perry said he is going to go on the “Letterman” show, to which Laura Ingraham warned not to do because they will “crucify” him. She advised that he go on Saturday Night Live instead and turn this to his advantage by laughing at himself. She advised him to do only one show – not Letterman or The Daily Show – only Saturday Night Live.
