Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich Would Use Military Action as Last Resort to Stop Iran from Getting Nuclear Weapons; Herman Cain Would Not – Video 11/12/11

Here is video from tonight’s CBS News / National Journal GOP Presidential Debate in South Carolina. This clip is from the early part of the debate, where candidates were asked what they would do to prevent Iran from obtaining Nuclear Weapons. Cain went first, but would not say he would use military action to stop Iran. Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich said they would use military action to stop Iran as a last resort.

Well, first as a recovering democrat, I have to say the republican primaries so far have been very much more democratic than the “democratic” one in 2008.

My humble assessment, I’m in the ABO camp, but also someone who I feel can pull back the fed govt, and is willing to and able to take on the fraud (as well as the protective media) very aggressively. I was for Bachmann, not now, was for Perry, not now, I was for Cain, not now. That leaves for me Romney or Newt.

I assume the Barry media will bring up all of Newt’s baggage, his divorces, etc, which I do not care about.

I’m now between Romney and Gingrich. I mentioned before I loathed Newt so much in the 90s, I was a loyal Clinton supporter, looking back, researching more, I give now more credit to Newt for the 90′s boom than Clinton, although I will Clinton for being able to moderate, he was never a far lefty anyways, and he is not an ideologue.

Cain, maybe as VP, not as president, too many unknowns, and running for president doesn’t make you qualified to be that, I remember Barry used that same bullcrap argument, that he’s best prepared to be president because he was running for the presidency, not one media outlet called him out on it.

Newt won this one, but he can mess up as well, so Newt won the debate. Its either Newt or Romney for me at this point.

Always good to get your perspective, average voter. I think a lot of people are where you are right now.

I just watched the remaining half hour, I couldn’t yesterday, the feed was too spotty.  I take back what I said about the moderators. Major G. was polite, firm, and seebs guy Pelly, very  rude, cutting off someone’s answer , even at the ending?  Maybe they need to consult with Fox on how to stream online, Fox so far has been the best in streaming these items online. The biggest loser –> seebs

BTW, Brian_FL, the WSJ article you posted about Barry losing VA, yet dems crowing on how they won in OH, I urge all readers to check out this post but a PUMA site (pumas were lifelong loyal dems like me who backed Hillary, but refused to back the fraud, especially after votes were openly stolen, many are reagan dems, now independents)
