Ann Coulter on Why Mitt Romney Should be the GOP Nominee; Predicts a “Romney-Rubio” GOP Ticket in 2012 – Video 11/15/11

PART 1

PART 2

Here is video of Ann Coulter on with Sean Hannity last night, where she discussed Gov. Chris Christie’s warning to Republicans about how difficult it will be to defeat Barack Obama in 2012.

Coulter argued that Christie is absolutely right, and that is why Republicans need to nominate Mitt Romney to face-off with Obama. Coulter believes Republicans need to stop looking for another “Ronald Reagan” this election cycle and focus on the job at hand – defeat Barack Obama. She believes it would be “suicidal” for the GOP to just pick “the most right-wing candidate” without regard to whether they can win against Obama.

Coulter said Romney has the best chance to beat Obama. “I think he’s a bit of a country-club Republican too,” she said, but the focus must be on winning in 2012. Hannity agreed with Coulter that Romney “has been great in every debate,” and is running an outstanding campaign in this election cycle. Coulter said that with Romney “we know what his negatives are,” but with the other candidates we are still finding out.

On Newt Gingrich, Coulter said she is “not a fan,” and that those who criticize Mitt Romney as a flip-flopper should “look into the record of Newt Gingrich.” She predicted the GOP Ticket in 2012 will wind up being “Romney-Rubio.”

Doesn’t it concern you at all, that Willard Mitt Romney, an orthodox Mormon, is propounding a social & domestic policy that would majorly curtail and/or abolish alcohol, tea, coffee, caffeine, legal pornography??? As opposed, to say, Gov. Huntsman, who of the mainstream wing of that religion.

Rubio is not going to accept to be on the VP ticket, and with the mix up in years, in terms of when his parents really came (every Cuban American knows when their relatives left that prison island), vis a vis his now false mantra about them being Castro exiles, and the whole double speak on his personal faith, as well as some issues with local bankers and favorable loans, he would be Palinized.

Mitt Romney is a serous contender and a true conservative. When Romney ran for president in 2008 They compare Mitt romney as a serious conservative and Mccain as a renegade maverick. Now today, lousy argument on his flip flop issues is kinda old. Every GOP candidates flip flops. But the media isn’t labeling them as one. Only Mitt Romney can challenge Barack Obama. Perry, Cain, Paul, Gingrich are all phonies will eventually fall. Mitt Romney has a vision and a plan to get America going again. He will turn the economy around and bring it to path of prosperity again. Only Mitt can do those things because of his experience and knowledge he has. Mitt is inevitable nominee and serious candidate and desire to get America going again. VOTE FOR MITT!

    Carlos,
I’m not a big fan of Mitt Romney, but where have you seen Romney say he wants to abolish alcohol, tea, coffee, caffeine etc.? I have not seen that anywhere. Just because he is a Mormon and may believe he should abstain from those things does not mean he would try to implement that as a matter of public policy.

On Rubio, I hope he would not let that matter about when his parents came to the U.S. keep him from accepting the VP slot. He has a very bright future.

Carlos where did you come up with that Mantra?? There is no “right wing” or “mainstream” branches of the Mormon Church!! A Mormons a Mormon, and Romney will not implement his own religious beliefs into law as that would be political suicide.

I am not going to debate Mormonism with you, as you are obviously clueless…like all religions/belief systems, there more mainstream and more fundamentalist type Mormons…(Warren Jeffs, Romney, Huntsman, for example, are all three Mormons but are nevertheless divergent)

What do you know about Willard Mitt Romney? do you know about his polygamist grandfather? do you know about his father, who was born on a compound in Mexico? do you know about what happened in Nauvoo that led up to the death of Joseph Smith? do you  know about the Mountain Meadows massacre under Brigham Young? the Woodruff decree of 1890?

So go back, like the tool you are, and keep propounding the candidacy of Willard Mitt Romney, which will pathetically, lead to the re-election of Obama, and condemn us to four more years of socialism and further disaster….

This is an academic and a moot discussion, because barring some sort of celestial intervention or unforeseen breakdown, Romney, will be the GOP nominee of the party…so don’t worry Brian, by mid-February, or even perhaps after Florida votes on January 31st, you guys will be in charge.

Within the pendulum of Mormonism, he is closer to the orthodox side, see the NY Times write up on his activities in Boston as type of bishop figure, not a fundamentalist, though, but definitely less “progressive” ( and I don’t mean that in a pejorative sense here) than Huntsman, for example.
