Here is audio of Newt Gingrich on the Laura Ingraham Radio Show today, where he explained consulting payments he received over the years from mortgage giant Freddie Mac.

Gingrich said he never did any lobbying for Freddie Mac, never reaching out to Capitol Hill. “I’m not in the business of lobbying.” Gingrich said what he did for them was to “offer strategic advice,” which he said they ignored.
