S.E. Cupp Talks to Glenn Beck about the GOP Debate and Newt Gingrich; Calls Gingrich “Incredibly Arrogant” and “Kind of a Terrible Person” – Video 11/23/11

Here is video of Glenn Beck talking with S.E. Cupp about last night’s CNN GOP Presidential Debate. She thought Mitt Romney “did a great job,” sounding “strong on National Security,” and that he made a “really convincing case for Israel.”

Cupp said Newt Gingrich is “incredibly smart,” but that he is also “incredibly arrogant,” and that he is “kind of a terrible person.” She said she does not trust Gingrich, and is not sure what he is going to do next.

Newt is not the smartest guy in the room, in fact, he is somebody who has made a good deal of blunders throughout his life. That is a tiresome expression.  But Cupp has a point about Newt being “kind of a terrible person.”  So is Clinton, and Edwards and others who have cheated on their wives.

Glenn Beck is a flippy kind of guy and if I was Michele Bachmann I don’t know if I would be savoring his endorsement.  Has he ever said that he was KING KONG living inside the Chrysler Building?  Probably not, but he thinks it.  And Michele Bachmann is not perfect: a little contrived at times, as is Newt, as is probably the whole lot of them.  I think I’d vote for an amalgamate of Romney because he tried “beer and cigarettes,” Cain for his “Blitz and Princess” remark and Perry for his good naturedness.

    Blind Eye,
You’re so right. Being “smart” and being “wise” are not necessarily the same thing. We need a President who will make the right decisions, not just be the “smartest guy in the room.”

Apparently Cupp missed the video where Gingrich said his life changed through an encounter with God.  A BIG reason why this country is plummeting is because we hold those that can fix it to a standard that can only be met by Jesus Christ, and we allow those that can just keep it status quo(and status quo has dropped significantly over the 8 years of Clinton and 3 years of Obama)  for 4 years to slide into office or get defeated by a socialistic, power-hungry, anti-Christian, anti-family, anti-capitalist bigot.  Gingrich talks about fundamentally changing Washington and Romney talks about things that sound nice to those that he wants to vote for him.
