Newt Gingrich Explains Rise in the Polls: It May become “Newt vs. Not-Newt” – Video 11/30/11

Here is video of Newt Gingrich last night explaining his meteoric rise in the GOP Presidential Polls. Gingrich said he is “60 days ahead” of where he thought he would be in his campaign, and believes Americans are flocking to his campaign because they want someone who can take on President Obama on the strength of ideas – someone who can debate him. He said people love his idea of seven Lincoln-Douglas style debates with Obama.

Rather than the GOP Nomination coming down to a choice between “Mitt and Not-Mitt,” Gingrich said the race is moving toward becoming “Newt vs. Not-Newt.”
