Gov. Mike Huckabee Says “There’s Going to be Blood on the Floor” as GOP Race Moves Toward Actual Voting Contests – Audio 11/30/11

Here is audio of Gov. Mike Huckabee on the Laura Ingraham Show, where he said that as the GOP Nomination race moves toward actual voting contests in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina – “the knives get sharpened, they come out of the drawers and they start getting used, and there’s going to be blood on the floor. That’s just the way this happens.”

Mike Huckabee pledged to support the eventual GOP Nominee – including Mitt Romney. He acknowledged that he and Romney have not been “best buddies,” but that Romney would be far better than Barack Obama “every day of the week and twice on Sunday.” Huckabee did say Romney is “not my first choice.”

Huckabee had a classic description of “politics” in his own unique style:

“Politics is a lot like a Wonderbra. You take what you have, and you try to arrange it in such a way that at the moment at which it means the most it pushes you up over the top.”
