Sarah Palin Weighs in on GOP Presidential Nomination Race; Saves Most Effusive Praise for Rick Santorum, Ron Paul – Video 12/1/11
Here is video of Gov. Sarah Palin on with Sean Hannity last night where she weighed in on the state of the GOP Presidential Nomination race.
Palin said she hopes the candidates “do not lose focus” on Obama, even as they go back and forth about their own differences on issues.
When Palin was asked about a possible endorsement, she said her endorsement “probably doesn’t amount to a hill of beans.” But she would not say she won’t endorse a candidate before voting begins.
Palin said she does not believe it has come down “solidly” to a Newt vs. Romney race. She praised Rick Santorum for being “consistent on being a hard-liner against Iran to help protect Israel. He’s been consistent in wanting to protect the most vulnerable, and the sanctity of life. He’s been consistent in saying we need to slash the Federal Income Tax. . . “
On Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, she said they would be “infinitely better than Barack Obama.” She singled out Ron Paul for praise as well, saying “he’s the one facing reality” on the spending problem facing the nation.
