Chris Matthews Apologizes on Behalf of MSNBC After It Accused Mitt Romney of Using a KKK Slogan – Video 12/14/11

Chris Matthews apologizes on behalf of MSNBC after it ran a story earlier in the day comparing a phrase used by Mitt Romney’s campaign, “Keep America American,” to one used by the KKK in the 1920s. Matthews said, “It was irresponsible and incendiary of us to do this and it showed an appalling lack of judgment. We apologize, we really do, to the Romney campaign.”
