Newt Gingrich Argues with Bill O’Reilly that the American People Don’t Have to be Held Captive by Out-of-Control Federal Judges – Video 12/20/11

Here is video of Newt Gingrich on with Bill O’Reilly where he defended his view that Federal Judges can be compelled by subpeona to come before Congress and account for their bizarre rulings. Gingrich favors doing that in extreme cases as part of the impeachment process Congress can exercise against runaway Judges who seek to legislate from the bench.

O’Reilly disagreed with Gingrich, arguing the appeals process takes care of crazy rulings by out-of-contrl judges. But Gingrich argued that the American people do not have to put up with such judges, and that what he is advocating is that the President and the Congress can “rebalance” the powers between the branches rather than just settling for a judiciary that asserts itself as dominant over the other two branches of government.
