New Rick Perry Ad Slams Santorum, Bachmann, Paul and Gingrich: “If Washington’s the Problem, Why Trust a Congressman to Fix It?” – Video 12/26/11

Here is Gov. Rick Perry’s latest campaign ad airing in Iowa. It calls for a “Part-time Congress,” noting that “If Washington’s the problem – why trust a Congressman to fix it?” The ad shows pictures of Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul, and Newt Gingrich – all either current or former members of Congress. The ad then says, “Among them, they’ve spent 63 years in Congress leaving us with debt, earmarks, and bailouts.”

Perry’s strategy is clearly to run as the outsider. He’s certainly trying to close strong, as he has done in all his races in Texas.
