Bizarre Turn of Events in Iowa: Michele Bachmann Co-Chair Endorses Ron Paul at Rally; Bachmann Campaign Claims Switch Made for Money – Video 12/28/11

Bizarre turn of events in Iowa tonight.

Here is video of Iowa State Sen. Kent Sorenson at a Ron Paul event tonight where he endorsed Ron Paul for President. What makes it bizarre is that Sorenson has been serving as Co-Chair of the Michele Bachmann Campaign in Iowa! In fact, reports indicate he was at a Bachmann rally just three hours before making this endorsement for Paul.

“The decision I am making today is one of the most difficult I have made in my life. But given what’s at stake for our country, I have decided I must take this action.

Tonight, Michele Bachmann is reportedly claiming Sorenson told her he had been offered a “large sum of money” to switch to Ron Paul.
