New WAA Poll Shows Mitt Romney with a 7-Point Lead in Iowa; Santorum a Strong Second; Paul Falling to Third – 12/30/11

The latest poll out of Iowa on the GOP Presidential race shows Mitt Romney pulling out to a 7-point lead over Rick Santorum, 24%-17%, with Ron Paul falling to third place at 14%.

The We Ask America Poll has Newt Gingrich now at 13%, followed by Michele Bachmann at 12% and Rick Perry at 10%.

There have now been four Iowa Polls in the last three days, and the 3-Day Average of Polls shows Mitt Romney with a 3.3 point lead over Ron Paul, 21.8%-18.5%. Rick Santorum is third at 15.3%, followed by Newt Gingrich at 14% and Rick Perry at 12%.
