BBC Report on Kim Jong-Un’s Birthday

Well, I don’t think anything is going to change in North Korea.

Here is an unbridled propaganda documentary by North Korean State TV heralding the birthday of the new “Dear Leader” – Kim Jong-Un. It actually opens with him riding in on a horse to the sound of an ecstatic announcer, the view of the rising sun, and glorious music. It goes on for a very long time.

    Yes, it is fascinating how an entire country can be held under the spell of a madman. It is sheer terror founded on brute force over a long period of time. To think that North Korea has nuclear weapons with a massive army massed just miles from South Korea – and we are reducing the size of our army by 14%.
