Complete Video of the Pro-Gingrich PAC Documentary Attacking Mitt Romney: “When Mitt Romney Came to Town” – 1/11/12

Here is complete video of the anti-Mitt Romney Documentary put together by a pro-Newt Gingrich SuperPAC – “Winning our Future” – and released today, nine days ahead of the South Carolina Primary.

The attack documentary goes after Mitt Romney for his work as a venture capitalist with Bain Capital, zeroing in on individuals who say they lost their jobs as a result of Bain taking over their company. Of course, in something like this, context is everything. It does not give all the details of what Bain faced with each of these situations and the need to sometimes reduce the size of a company in order to get it healthy enough to build it back up. Sometimes, in a Free Enterprise system, companies go under. Mitt Romney claims that his work at Bain led to the creation of a net gain of 100,000 jobs across the 100 companies they worked with. But that does not mean there are not individual examples of pain and loss in the lives of people who were part of a company that went under.

Today, some reports indicated Newt Gingrich was walking back his attacks of Romney for his work at Bain Capital, but late today he said in a statement he did not admit he had “crossed the line.”
