Endorse Newt… On Way To the VP Slot?

  • Big Marv

Newt is no Reagan, Reagan stayed on message in spite of the criticism. The opposition (from both parties) were saying Reagan failed before he was even inaugurated.

    You are exactly right, Marv.

Please, let’s not put another McCain out there for us to vote for, I’m sick of not winning.
Romney = 4 more years of OBAMA.

Romney’s lead in South Carolina just keeps growing. He’s going to be hard to stop now.

Newt can still do it! He has to win Saturday!

Brian, I think you got the wrong numbers on the new quinnipiac poll in FL.  Every other article I’ve read today shows this result from that poll: “In a survey of 601 Republicans who described themselves as likely voters next Tuesday in Florida, Romney was favored by 36 percent to Gingrich’s 34 percent. Read more: http://www.abcactionnews.com/dpp/news/political/new-quinnipiac-poll-shows-mitt-romney-newt-gingrich-in-dead-heat-heading-into-florida-gop-primary#ixzz1kUFmdBmP

“According to an American Research Group poll released Wednesday morning, 41 percent of likely Sunshine State GOP primary voters say they are backing the former Massachusetts governor as their party’s nominee, with 34% supporting former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.”   -sorry, I can’t help myself.

    dixielea,
I chose to use the numbers Quinnipiac published from their polling on January 22-23, after the results of the South Carolina Primary. On those two days of polling, Gingrich led 40-34. On the days prior to the SC Primary results, Romney led 37-26, making the overall poll look like Romney led 34-32. But the most recent two days of polling likely give a clearer picture of what is going on in Florida right now. I’ll add the first days of polling so it will be factored into the 7 and 21 day average.

Haven’t seen that poll yet. I’ll look for it. Thanks.

Looks like Newt wants to take down the repub party with him.

When I campaigned for Hillary in 2008, I don’t ever remember Hillary saying Barry was just like Mccain.

Newt I liked before, but the more I hear him, the more he reminds me of the Newt of 1990s. He doesn’t seem to care anymore how the electability of  other repubs will be affected.

I just hope the romney aides don’t display the stupidity they did before by talking to a reporter about disparaging Newt about “destroying” him in FL.
