New Rasmussen Poll Shows Mitt Romney Way Ahead in Florida GOP Primary Race – 1/12/12

A new Rasmussen Poll shows Gov. Mitt Romney running away with the Florida Primary race – at least right now. Romney more than doubles his nearest competitor in Florida, which will hold its primary on January 31.

Romney gets 41% support in the new poll, with Newt Gingrich second at 19%, and Rick Santorum third with 15%.

In the 7-day average of polls out of Florida, Romney now has a 15-point lead.
