J.C. Watts Says it is “Not an Accurate Representation” to Say 150 Conservative Christian Leaders “Endorsed” Rick Santorum for President – Video 1/15/12

Here is video of J.C. Watts saying “it is not an accurate representation” of the meeting of Christian Conservative Leaders in Texas over the weekend to say they “endorsed” Rick Santorum for President. Watts said the strong support Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich had going into that meeting, they had coming out of the meeting as well. Watts said that on the first ballot, only “9 votes separated Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich.”

Watts said the characterization by the media that “150 Christian Leaders” endorsed Rick Santorum just “does not represent the integrity of what the meeting represented.”

Watts was actually present at the meeting, and is a supporter of Newt Gingrich.
