Rick Santorum Goes Negative on Mitt Romney in New Ad; Portrays Romney as a Carbon Copy of Barack Obama – Video 1/16/12

Here is video of a new Rick Santorum ad that goes negative on Mitt Romney, essentially attacking him as a carbon copy of Barack Obama.

Santorum is now lagging well behind not only Mitt Romney in South Carolina and Florida, but also Newt Gingrich. This ad may hurt Romney, but whether it will pull people to Santorum or equally help Newt Gingrich is yet to be seen. The truth is, Santorum and Gingrich need the other to drop out. Only as the supporters of both combine forces can one candidate become the alternative to Mitt Romney. Right now, Gingrich is up by 8 points on Santorum in South Carolina, and by 12 points in Florida. Gingrich appears the be the more viable challenger to Romney.
