Newt Gingrich Ex-Wife Claims He Wanted an “Open Marriage” in Interview Set to Run Tonight on ABC News – Video 1/19/12

Here is Newt Gingrich wife number 2 – Marianne – apparently seeking to do maximum damage to his Presidential Campaign. She says he wanted an open marriage, and she refused. What a mess. This is why marriage is supposed to be between one man with one woman for a lifetime.

It’s worth noting that ABC News was supposedly wringing their hands yesterday on the “ethics” of running this interview before the South Carolina Primary. Now, they are not only going to run it tonight, they are going to tease it all day ahead of tonight’s GOP Debate on CNN. It’s an obvious hit-job designed to take Gingrich out. It is timed for maximum damage just before the crucial vote in South Carolina.

    I think it’s down to Newt and Romney but for my money I think Newt has more negatives.  Sure, everybody wants a conservative but Newt talks like a conservative NOW, whereas in the past in the past he seems to be anything but, and now this open marriage stuff and three marriages makes him unsavory.  I see Newt as an old age, white haired egomaniac trying to be relevant touting his academic credentials.  His old age (like McCain), some of the over the top remarks and his personal history are great boon for Obama and the Democrats.  More surprising is why Palin and Perry jumped on board?  Perry probably has a grudge against Romney which explains it, but Palin?  Again, Newt will say anything — as was accused of Romney — but Newt was never the governor of a blue state and I just don’t trust him.  Personal history means a lot to me.

    Despicable coverage ABC.  You do not care about Marianne – you simply want to use her. This woman, like all of us, needs people to love her, not use her.
