The long knives are out for Newt Gingrich. He’d better be ready.

In reacting to Newt Gingrich’s double-digit victory over Mitt Romney in South Carolina, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie called Romney’s loss “clearly disappointing,” and argued against Newt Gingrich being the nominee – saying he has been “an embarrassment” to the Republican Party in the past. Christie would not say he thought he would be an embarrassment in the future again, but he added, “Sometimes past is prologue.”

Christie said he would consider being Mitt Romney’s Vice-President if asked, should he become the nominee.

I don’t like Newt, but I find it very funny that people like Christie don’t seem to realize by calling Newt an embarrassment, they’re insulting his supporters as well.
Personally I think Romney is a stronger general candidate, but I would certainly vote for Newt should he be the nominee.

And I might add, while I don’t like newt, I will admit, I find myself applauding Newt when he goes after Barry and his worshiping press, Newt reminds me of a pit bull; against a left media, that is a huge plus.

Also, I think its so telling that Christie goes on a liberal show like MTP?  Why not just go on MSNBC as well??

I couldn’t care less what MTP says, they all have one goal, reelecting Barry. In 2008, instead of just a liberal bias, it was outright campaigning from the press for Obama. Like I’m going to listen or believe a damn word these liberal press corps says!
